I’m Maa Abena, an 18-year-old girl who is still experiencing life.

I’m a child of God born in God’s favour.

I love God.

I like food.

I have a really nice sense of humour. (P.S there’s never a dull moment around me 😉unless I’m sad or mad)

I love music (P.S gospel music)

Been gymming too 🤭.

I’m in love with a special someone 😌.

As my journey begins I would want to share some parts of my life with you. Maybe my experiences might help you in life.

I’m very excited to start this blog post.

Going to share a teaser about my life…

I have been told that as you age it comes with responsibility. It’s those things that we know but chooses to ignore but it’s reality. I have always wanted to turn 18. I was told that I’m the only person who wants to turn 18 so badly. I feel like being 18, I’m responsible for my own actions, and I’ll get that independence I’ve always craved for.

I’d be able to make decisions that would affect my life in the future. I’m still growing but I have had my own share of life. Life taught me a lot. Life poses a lot of things at me, sometimes I like them sometimes and other times I don’t and that’s life.

You may be wondering what at all in life has she gone through. I’m not trying to undermine anyone’s life experiences, I’m not here to say I’ve been through so much more than someone. I’m here to share my journey and its potholes and how I keep on enduring them. I’m here to present to you the reality that looks so glamorous. I’m here to show you life, not just the nice and eye-pleasing ones. I’m here to show you the hardships, the pain the test and the tribulations of an 18-year-old girl.

One thing I learnt is that life is not all rosy. Life is a journey and mine has just begun we are on the road to adulthood, we are on the way to doing big for God, and we are on the way to excelling in our academics.

We all imagine a nice future but the journey there is not for the swift. I understand it’s not easy but perseverance and dedication and knowing the reason you started would lead you to your destination. Including God too is superb he helps you when things do not go as planned.

I hope you are excited to go on this journey with me.
